Wayne County Foundation Awards $196K in Grants

“The wide range of projects and initiatives proposed for this cycle was especially impressive,” said Steve Borchers, the Foundation’s executive director, in a news release. “We have no doubt that the ones selected for funding will have a meaningful impact on our community.”
The organizations receiving grants are:
- 2nd Chance Animal Rescue of Richmond, $4,000.00
- Achieva Resources Corporation, Inc., $2,500.00
- Amigos, The Richmond Community Center, $4,079.00
- Animal Care Alliance, $4,000.00
- Birth to Five, $5,000.00
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County, $10,000.00
- Brighter Path Inc., $5,000.00
- Child-Adult Resource Services Inc., $1,000.00
- Christian Charities, $2,500.00
- Circle U Help Center Inc., $1,500.00
